About Me

I am a wife and mom trying to do life in a way that honors Jesus. I’m also a self proclaimed research junkie but know that sometimes you have to just go with your gut after learning as much as you can… or follow your gut so you know what to research.

I am also a CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) and care about safety so if you have any questions about that, feel free to ask!

In this blog, I will write about things that peak my interest and things that are hopefully helpful and thought provoking to my readers! Some of my thoughts and posts may challenge you to think about something in a different way and may make you uncomfortable. Uncomfortable things can make you grow, though. I need to remind myself of that, too.

The side of me that most people see is the non-confrontational side. Confrontation stresses me out and sometimes is crippling to me. However, I have a lot of thoughts, ideas and things I’ve researched floating around in my head that challenge the norm. Most of the time, I don’t share because I don’t want to deal with confrontation or making someone upset by challenging them so, I keep my thoughts to myself or rant to my husband. My point: I’m going to write about those things here!

Come with me as I do life, write about things that challenge the “norm,” and bring a friend if you like the content.
