Baby Buddy 360 Toothbrush Review

If you have a baby or toddler, there is a good chance you know how tough it is to brush their teeth or get them to brush their own teeth (and actually get them clean). I had a couple of different toothbrushes for my son before I found the Baby Buddy 360 toothbrush. I searched a lot before I found it and it seemed like a great concept so I gave it a try. My son did GREAT with it. Because there are bristles all around instead of just on one side, you or your child is almost guaranteed to get some bristles on their teeth. My son even started brushing his own teeth and letting me brush everywhere instead of trying to bite the toothbrush as hard as he could. (No promises on the no biting thing, though.)

However, there are a couple of downsides. Since the bristles go all the way around, there isn’t a flat side to set down. We keep ours in a Boon Grass Drying Rack in our kitchen. It’s a little weird but it started when we were in the middle of bathroom renovations and it just kind of stuck. It keeps it off of the counter, although, not always off of the floor or out of the sink. I’m sure most toothbrush holders would work, too. This one,

that also holds toothpaste, looks good to me. Anything to contain clutter. (Actually, maybe I’ll try that and finally get the toothbrushes out of the kitchen…)

The other downside is that the little bit of chewing that my son does on the toothbrush while he twists the handle makes the bristle part start to disconnect from the handle. I’m cheap and make him use it like that more than most reasonable people probably would and it hasn’t ever actually fallen off, but it does seem to be a weak point in the design. In my ideal world it would also have a bamboo handle instead of plastic but that doesn’t exist.

Even with the drawbacks, it is still a great toothbrush for babies and toddlers and I feel good about the fact the my son has cleaner teeth now.

They come in different colors (blue, mint green, pink, yellow) and packages of 1 or 3.

There are tons of other factors in having good oral health such as diet and toothpaste, but those are topics for another day.

Happy Brushing
